Half century of Collecting Stuff

Having made it my first 50 years I've decided it's time to get rid of some of my clutter.  I live in a small house in a Georgia suburb and it's full with years of loving to shop.  Since I skipped the 'husband and kids' route and went with the 'me and my pets' path in life I've had more than my share of play money.  I've worked my entire life and was blessed with good health and few accidents to prevent me from living a better than average life-style.

One thing I hate is leaving so much stuff for my family to sort out when I no longer can.  So I'm going to start cleaning up for them.  A bit every weekend.  One thing I will have to do is not buy any cloths or shoes without giving an existing pair to Goodwill or whoever may need them.  You have no idea how hard this is for me.  I have many, many shoes and 3 closets full to bursting.

Step 1: clear out garage of stuff I do not and will not ever use.  That AB Lounge chair has seen nothing but dust.  Those empty boxes for electronic equipment, old dead computers (have to remember to remove the HDs), bird cages, bird feeders, pet cages that have not seen pets in years, fish tanks, and other stuff I keep when I have no intention of own a bird again or more fish outside those currently in my 30 gallon tank.
